This season has been far from successful for Barcelona. They have failed in all four competitions they participated in, winning no trophies. Additionally, the players will not secure any individual awards.

The last hope for any recognition was for the team's goalkeeper, Marc-André ter Stegen, who was contending for the most prestigious award for La Liga goalkeepers, the Zamora Trophy. His main competitor was Athletic Bilbao's goalkeeper, Unai Simón. For ter Stegen to have retained any chance, Simón needed to concede at least one goal in yesterday's match. However, this did not happen. Athletic Bilbao defeated Rayo Vallecano 1-0, thanks to a goal from Iñaki Williams, and Simón was substituted after an hour of play.

The Zamora Trophy is awarded to the goalkeeper with the fewest goals conceded over the season, with the requirement that the goalkeeper must play at least 60 minutes per match. It’s worth noting that Real Madrid's Andriy Lunin could have been a contender, but Carlo Ancelotti's rotations at the beginning of the season meant the Ukrainian did not play the minimum required number of matches (28) to qualify for the trophy.

Last year, ter Stegen won the Zamora Trophy. Among active players, the record holder is Atlético Madrid's Jan Oblak, who has won the award five times, including four consecutive victories.

In Barcelona's upcoming match against Sevilla, their players still have a mathematical chance to compete for the Pichichi Trophy, awarded to the season's top scorer. Currently, Girona's striker Artem Dovbyk leads with 24 goals, while Barcelona's Robert Lewandowski is closest with 18 goals.

Barcelona will play their final match of the season today. This match will also be the last in La Liga for the current season and for their head coach, Xavi Hernández, in his role as the manager of the Blaugrana.
