Angel Gomes chooses Tottenham over Man Utd and West Ham for summer transfer

England midfielder and Lille star Angel Gomes has chosen Tottenham over Manchester United and West Ham.
Gomes, who previously played for Manchester United, has emerged as one of the brightest stars in Ligue 1 in the 2023/24 season, showing excellent form and making a significant contribution to his team's success. He has provided eight assists in total, one of the best figures of the season. After four appearances for England last year, his name was on the lists of interest from many of Europe's top clubs, including Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig.
However, Tottenham are confident in their negotiations and are ready to offer the player favorable terms, according to GiveMeSport.

With Gomes' contract at Lille coming to an end, the English club will be able to sign him without a transfer fee, but a high wage will be key to the deal. Gomes could be on track for a salary of up to £150,000 a week.
For Tottenham, the signing of Angel Gomes would be a major step in strengthening their squad, especially as competition in the European transfer market grows.
