On February 28th, the legendary British tennis player Andy Murray (ATP 67) concluded his participation in the ATP 500 hardcourt tournament in Dubai, UAE.

In the round of 16, Murray was defeated in straight sets by Hugo Humbert (France, ATP 18) with a score of 2-6, 4-6. The match concluded in 1 hour and 31 minutes.

Following his match against Hugo Humbert, Murray announced the conclusion of his career:

"I am unlikely to continue playing after this summer."

Murray plans to compete at Roland Garros, where he last played in 2020. It seems that the former world number one will bring his career to a close at Wimbledon.
