Details: Liverpool's Scottish defender Andrew Robertson admitted he enjoys his work with the club but emphasized that every footballer wants to be out on the pitch.
“If someone is happy just sitting on the bench, then they don’t belong at any football club,” Robertson noted.
The full-back added that he wants to remain at Liverpool, but the situation is complicated:
“I have five months left on my contract, so I need to see if there’s a chance to extend or if there are options to move on. I need to discuss everything with my family and make a decision.” He also mentioned that talks have already taken place with the club, but the details of those conversations remain confidential.
It's worth noting that this season, Robertson has played twenty matches for Liverpool across all competitions, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
Reminder: Liverpool met with Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guéhi to discuss a possible transfer.
