Yesterday's defeat of Milan by Bologna in the Coppa Italia final will have serious consequences for the team's future.
Details: According to Fabrizio Romano, Milan's management has finally made a decision regarding the future of head coach Sérgio Conceição following this match.
Milan's recent positive run in Serie A had left room for doubt, and Conceição still had a chance to keep his job. However, after the disappointment in the Coppa Italia final, the club has ultimately decided that Conceição will be dismissed.
This means that the upcoming Serie A matches against Roma and Monza will be Conceição's last on the Milan bench.
Conceição only took over as Milan's head coach this winter, replacing Paulo Fonseca. Under his leadership, the team won the Italian Super Cup and currently sits eighth in Serie A.
Reminder: Yesterday, Bologna claimed their first trophy in 51 years.
