Ancelotti has responded to the possibility of signing a preliminary contract with Mbappé

Real Madrid's head coach, Carlo Ancelotti, declined to comment on the potential transfer of Kylian Mbappé to the Madrid club.

Mbappé's contract with PSG expires in June. Both parties have yet to reach an agreement on an extension, opening the possibility for the forward to sign a pre-contract agreement with another club.

“I’m not gonna comment about this topic. No comment, you should know we don’t speak about it” said Anchelotti.

According to the latest reports, the Royal Club is preparing to take the final step in an attempt to sign the star forward and has even set a deadline for resolving the matter.

Apart from Real Madrid, which has been linked with Mbappé for several years now, Liverpool is also interested in the French forward.

In the current season, Mbappé has played 22 matches for PSG across all competitions, scoring 21 goals and providing two assists. The approximate value of the player, as per Transfermarkt, stands at 180 million euros.
