Ancelotti Confirms Key Players Will Be Fit for Manchester City Clash

Real Madrid secured a crucial victory over Manchester City in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League knockout tie, and ahead of the second leg, more positive news has emerged for Los Blancos.

Details: Head coach Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Antonio Rüdiger, David Alaba, and Lucas Vázquez are all on track to be fit and available for the return leg against Manchester City. The Italian manager stated that the players are recovering well and will be ready for the decisive encounter.

Notably, Real Madrid has been granted permission to review VAR communications from a recent match. On Monday, February 17, the Technical Committee of Referees will host a Madrid delegation to listen to the recordings.

Real Madrid has also budgeted for a Champions League quarterfinal appearance this season. If they fail to progress, the club will suffer financial losses.

Reminder. Real Madrid’s leadership criticized the work of the refereeing team in the match against Espanyol (0:1), pointing out several serious mistakes by the referee. As a result, Madrid filed a complaint with the Royal Spanish Football Federation.
