The transfer window promises to be vibrant and eventful.

Details: According to Defensa Central, Real Madrid are looking to part ways with 24-year-old Brazilian winger Rodrygo. In addition to a permanent transfer or a loan deal, the club is also considering a direct swap for 22-year-old German attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz, who has struggled to find his form at Liverpool and is widely regarded as the biggest disappointment of the recent transfer window.

Sources indicate that all parties view the potential swap positively, believing that a change of scenery could benefit the players and allow them to make a greater impact at their new clubs.

Florian Wirtz has become one of Liverpool's major disappointments this season. The €125 million that Liverpool paid Bayer for Wirtz have yet to pay off, as the German international has failed to make any impact in his 11 appearances for the Reds.

As for Rodrygo, Real Madrid head coach Xabi Alonso has made it clear that he cannot offer the Brazilian more playing time. Eager to make Brazil's squad for the 2026 World Cup, Rodrygo is exploring every possible option to increase his minutes, and a move to Liverpool could be just what he needs. So far this season, Rodrygo has made 10 appearances for Real but has failed to contribute any goals or assists.
