In recent weeks, the atmosphere at Real Madrid has reportedly become increasingly strained, with rising tension between head coach Xabi Alonso and several players.
Details: According to Romain Molina, some of the club’s Brazilian players are dissatisfied with the amount of playing time given to winger Franco Mastantuono. The entourages of these players are said to be fuelling discontent, suggesting that the issue lies with head coach Xabi Alonso.
It was also previously reported that during Carlo Ancelotti’s tenure, some players would fly to Ibiza after matches instead of returning to Madrid, skipping training sessions and doing as they pleased. Reportedly, those same players tried to repeat this under Xabi Alonso, but it didn’t work out this time.
Reminder: Cameras recently captured Vinícius Júnior’s reaction to being substituted, and it was later revealed what the Brazilian forward actually said in that moment.
