An interesting move... Nuno Tavares could soon join Al-Ittihad

Details: According to renowned and respected journalist and insider Ekrem Konur on his X social media page, 25-year-old Lazio and Portugal national team left-back Nuno Tavares has given his consent to a transfer to Saudi side Al-Ittihad.

It is reported that Lazio are demanding no less than €20 million from the Saudi giants, a sum that is not expected to pose a problem for Al-Ittihad.

Negotiations between the parties are in the final stages and Tavares is close to starting the new year with a new club.

Nuno Tavares joined Lazio this summer from London’s Arsenal for €5 million. This season, the Portuguese full-back has featured in 10 matches for the "Eagles," providing one assist.

His current contract with Lazio runs until 2029, and his market value is estimated at €15 million by Transfermarkt.
