Amsterdam's Ajax has officially announced the appointment of their new head coach.
Details: The position goes to the well-known Spanish specialist Míchel. The Dutch giants’ management have fully agreed on all the terms for the coach’s move to the 'Ajacieden'.
The Spanish manager has signed a full contract with the Amsterdam club, set for two seasons. Míchel’s deal will run until June 30, 2028.
The club’s hierarchy is counting on the Spaniard’s dynamic attacking style and his proven ability to work with young talent to help Ajax reclaim the Eredivisie summit and make their mark again on the European stage.
It’s worth noting that Míchel’s previous club was Girona, with whom he suffered relegation to the Segunda División.
Reminder: Dutch authorities have seized funds provided by Quincy Promes in connection with drug trafficking.
