The saga surrounding the former Netherlands and Ajax star’s involvement in drug trafficking has taken a new turn.
Details: According to Dutch outlet De Telegraaf, the authorities in the Netherlands will demand 8 million euros from the ex-national team player, claiming that this sum was earned through drug dealing.
At one point, Promes allegedly claimed he could earn between 20,000 and 33,000 euros per block of cocaine. Investigators say the footballer managed to smuggle 650 blocks in total.
