PSG failed to break into the top eight of the UEFA Champions League league table. The French side finished 11th and collected 14 points from eight matches. In the previous playoff round, they defeated AS Monaco FC 5-4 on aggregate, before crushing Chelsea FC 8-2 in the Round of 16.

In the quarter-finals, the Parisians swept past Liverpool FC 4-0, while in the semi-finals they edged out FC Bayern Munich 6-5. PSG are the reigning UEFA Champions League holders and could lift the trophy for a second consecutive year.

Arsenal have been sensational throughout this UEFA Champions League campaign. The Gunners won all eight matches during the league phase, collecting a perfect 24 points from eight rounds. In the Round of 16, they defeated Bayer 04 Leverkusen 3-1 over two legs, before narrowly overcoming Sporting CP 1-0 and then eliminating Atlético Madrid 2-1.

Arsenal remain unbeaten in this season’s UEFA Champions League campaign. In addition, they secured the English league title and will now attempt to win the first UEFA Champions League trophy in the club’s history.

The UEFA Champions League final between PSG and Arsenal will take place on Saturday, May 30, and will kick off for the first time at 18:00 CET. The final will be held at Puskás Aréna in Budapest.
