An incredible final with a photo finish. Germany has won the Olympic mixed triathlon event

At the 2024 Olympics, there have been issues with the triathlon events. Several times, the competitions have been rescheduled due to water pollution.

On Monday, August 5th, the mixed triathlon races took place. The triathlon, as always, consists of three segments: swimming in the Seine, cycling, and running. The German team emerged victorious in the mixed event. Comprising Tim Hellwig, Lisa Tertsch, Lasse Lührs, and Laura Lindemann, the team completed the course in 1:25:39 hours.

Despite the British team leading after the first stage, they could not maintain their advantage. The final stretch of the race was extraordinary. The Germans overtook both the USA and the British teams. The champion was determined by a photo finish, with the German team edging out their opponents by just one second.
