Atlético forward Julián Álvarez has responded to rumors linking him with possible moves to PSG and Barcelona.
Details: The Argentine striker emphasized that he is currently fully committed to Atlético and is not considering a club change for now.
"Am I planning to play for Barcelona or PSG? Honestly, I don't know. I see what people are saying on social media. There's a lot of talk about me and Barcelona in Spain. Right now, I'm focused on Atlético, and we'll draw conclusions at the end of the season," Álvarez said.
The Atlético forward also commented on the rumors about potential transfers to PSG and Barcelona. The Argentine confirmed that, during his signing with Atlético, there were indeed discussions involving the French club:
"It's true, there were talks between PSG management and my agent, they showed interest, but the transfer didn't happen."
Álvarez's contract with Atlético runs until 2030, and his current market value on Transfermarkt is €100 million.
This season, the Argentine has played fourteen matches for Atlético, scoring nine goals and providing four assists.
