Atlético Madrid continue their search for a solution on the left side of defense. The signing of Matteo Ruggeri has not lived up to expectations—the Italian has failed to secure a spot in the starting lineup, forcing Diego Simeone to experiment by deploying central defender David Hancko in that position.

The Spaniard’s current contract runs until 2028. His value on Transfermarkt is €45 million.
This season, the Spanish defender has made fifteen appearances for the London club across all competitions, providing two assists.
