Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has addressed the situation surrounding striker Julian Alvarez, who has been linked with a potential move to Barcelona or PSG.

Details: According to Cerezo, the club is not considering selling the Argentine and wants to keep him in Madrid. He also stated that the player himself wishes to remain in the Spanish capital.

"Alvarez wants to stay at Atletico. He has a contract and he must honor it. We are not ready to enter into negotiations over Julian. If a club comes along with an offer and the player wants to leave, then he will go. But right now, we have no players who want to leave the club," the president said.

This season, Julian Alvarez has played 16 matches for Atletico, scoring 9 goals and providing 4 assists.

Tonight, Julian Alvarez will have a chance to shine in the Champions League clash against Inter Milan. Kick-off is at 21:00 Central European Time.

Reminder: Koke made his 700th appearance for Atletico Madrid.
