Already on site. Fernando Alonso shows his arrival at the Grand Prix in Imola
Formula 1 star Fernando Alonso has already touched down for the next Grand Prix stage in Italy’s iconic Imola. He shared a video of his arrival on his Instagram page.
The Aston Martin driver posted a clip featuring himself and teammate Lance Stroll as they make their way into the paddock, passing a throng of photographers and journalists.
The duo, as always, cut a stylish figure, instantly drawing the attention of fans. One supporter even commented that the Aston Martin pair are the most fashionable in the paddock.
It’s worth noting that today marks the start of a new Formula 1 chapter at Imola—the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix. One highlight will be the debut of Argentine driver Franco Colapinto for the Alpine team.

Alonso is set for another race here, still searching for his first points of the season. His Aston Martin partner, Stroll, hasn’t fared much better—he’s collected just 14 points and sits 10th in the standings.
The current championship leader is Australia’s Oscar Piastri from McLaren. Last year’s Formula 1 champion Max Verstappen is only third at the moment, trailing Piastri by 32 points.
