Alonso set to lure Real Madrid defender to Bayer

After the championship season, Bayer will have to work hard in the transfer market to at least keep their defensive redoubts intact. Josip Stanisic will return to Bayern, and Piero Hincapie is a candidate for sale. Therefore, the "pharmacists" need to make signings in defence, and one of their targets Leverkusen have found in Real Madrid.

So, according to SPORT BILD, Xabi Alonso wants to invite to his team centre-back Rafa Marin, who is spending the current season on loan at Deportivo Alaves. But, Real are ready to give the player on loan again, or, if the sale does happen, the royal club wants to claim the first right of redemption.
