Speculation continues to swirl around Cristiano Ronaldo and his future, but Al-Nassr remain hopeful they can keep hold of their superstar.
Details: Sporting director Fernando Hierro revealed that Al-Nassr are working on extending the Portuguese forward's contract.
Quote: "We are still in talks with Cristiano Ronaldo regarding a new contract. We hope we can reach an agreement on an extension," Hierro stated.
Earlier reports suggested that Ronaldo has not completely ruled out extending his stay at Al-Nassr, but made it clear that continuing with the Saudi club would depend on being guaranteed a starting role and the team competing for titles.
Reminder: This season, Ronaldo has played 30 matches, scored 25 goals and provided 3 assists.
