Allegri surprised with a statement about Juventus' fight for the championship

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri does not particularly believe that the team will be able to win the Italian championship this season.

According to the Italian coach, there are now a lot of young people in his team and now the club management and fans need to show more patience, and not demand immediate results.

“Last season Juventus finished third (excluding the ten-point penalty) and Napoli and Inter were much stronger.

Since we have a lot of young players, we need to be patient. "Juventus' goal for the current season is to finish in the top four in order to play in the Champions League next season," he said.

Let us remind you that in the match of the 9th round of the Italian Serie A, Juventus met with Milan at the San Siro stadium and quite unexpectedly beat the leader of the standings with a score of 1:0.

Juventus is currently in third place with 20 points from nine matches. Inter Milan leads the standings.
