Midfielder Paul Pogba is on the verge of making his comeback after a lengthy suspension. The player, currently a free agent, has been in talks with Monaco for about two weeks, negotiating the terms of a potential deal.

According to Fabrizio Romano, both parties are close to an agreement and an official announcement is expected soon. Reports indicate that the Frenchman will sign a two-year contract with the Monegasques, though other details of the deal remain undisclosed for now.

After his doping ban was reduced to 18 months, the former France international is now eligible to return to action—his suspension officially ended back in March. Pogba last played on September 3, 2023, for Juventus in a match against Empoli.
