Onana could leave Man United. Cameroonian goalkeeper attracts interest from Monaco

Monaco are showing interest in Manchester United goalkeeper André Onana, according to Goal citing The Times.
Despite this, the 29-year-old shot-stopper prefers to stay at Old Trafford and fight for his place in the starting lineup. Earlier reports suggested that the Red Devils are in the market for a new keeper and have already shortlisted several candidates, including the Italian national team goalkeeper.
It’s worth recalling that Onana has faced heavy criticism for two seasons now, but manager Ruben Amorim is expected to give him a chance to prove his worth. At the same time, the Cameroonian’s departure remains possible, and the goalkeeper himself has admitted that he is unsure whether he will stay at the club.
It's also notable that Onana is the fourth most expensive goalkeeper in football history, behind Buffon, Alisson, and Kepa Arrizabalaga. Should Manchester United decide to sell him, the price could be around £40 million.
