On Tuesday, February 17, the preliminary round matches of the 2026 Olympic hockey tournament were played, and now all quarterfinalists have been determined.
Details: All favorites won their matches to advance to the next stage. Germany defeated France 5–1, Switzerland overcame Italy 3–0, the Czech Republic narrowly beat Denmark 3–2, and Sweden routed Latvia 5–1.
Not only are all quarterfinalists confirmed, but the matchups have also been set.
