Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has shared his thoughts on the club’s parting of ways with Sporting Director Edu Gaspar.

Quote: “It all happened very quickly. Of course, I enjoyed working with him. We’ve been together since day one here. I am very grateful for what he’s done for me and for the incredible work he’s done for the club. Now he has a great opportunity to take on a new role, and we have to respect that. We wish him all the best.

Edu is leaving, and we respect that, but our plan and vision remain firmly in place here at Arsenal. We have a very strong leadership team, and our passion for this journey won’t fade,” Arteta remarked.

To Recall: Edu joined Arsenal in 2019, initially serving as Technical Director before being promoted to Sporting Director in 2022.

Reports suggest that Edu may soon be taking up a position at Nottingham Forest.
