Manchester United has no intention of parting ways for good with their talented midfielder.
Details: Today, the official Manchester United account on social network X announced that the club’s 20-year-old Malian midfielder Sekou Koné has officially joined Swiss side Lausanne-Sport.
It’s reported that Koné will continue his career at Lausanne-Sport on a loan deal running until the end of the current season. There is no information regarding a possible buyout option.

Sekou Koné joined Manchester United in 2024 from Malian club Guidars for €1.2 million. During his time in Manchester, Koné featured for various youth teams but has yet to make an appearance for the senior side.
United are hopeful that Sekou Koné will gain top-level experience and compete for a spot in the Red Devils’ starting lineup next season.
