Legendary Croatian winger Ivan Perišić is preparing to leave Hajduk Split before the end of the transfer window.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Split-based club and the former Inter player have mutually decided to part ways.
Perišić had been sidelined by Gennaro Gattuso from the first team. The 35-year-old Croatian did not travel with the squad for the second-round match of the Croatian championship against Lokomotiva Zagreb.
It was previously reported that Gattuso's decision was due to a disciplinary breach by Perišić during the team's last training session on Saturday, August 10.
Perišić has been with Hajduk since January, featuring in eight matches during the latter part of last season and scoring one goal.
