Algerian international Luca Zidane joins Leganés
The 28-year-old goalkeeper, son of Zinedine Zidane, has signed a one-season contract with an option for a further year.
Luca Zidane will continue his professional career in Spain. The Algerian international goalkeeper has moved to a new club in the league where he has been playing for several seasons.
Although he had a year remaining on his contract at Granada CF, he left to join another club in the Spanish second division. Luca Zidane has signed for CD Leganés on a one-season contract with an optional extension for a further year. The Algerian goalkeeper thus continues his spell in Spain.
He made his La Liga debut during the 2017–2018 season with Real Madrid. However, Luca Zidane subsequently played in the Spanish second division. He has represented Racing Santander, SD Eibar, Rayo Vallecano, Granada and now Leganés.
The Algerian international goalkeeper also made a few appearances in the Spanish top flight with Rayo Vallecano during the 2021–2022 season.
