The official spokesman of the Algerian Football Federation revealed important details about a suffocating financial crisis that was raging in the body of the federation and was facing debts of up to five million euros, which affected the ability of the federation to finance the expenses of the African Cup of nations.
But the intervention of the Algerian authorities contributed to prevent things from getting worse, and the current Minister of sports stressed the need to look for sources of funding for the federation and promote it financially.
Speaking to the media, the minister stressed that everyone should work to rationalize expenditures and work on good financial planning to stay away from any possible financial crisis that may hit the union again.
