Algeria is eyeing Eric Chelle for the role of head coach of the Desert Foxes

Algeria is said to be looking to part ways with Vladimir Petkovic, despite the fact that he recently extended his contract with the Desert Foxes. Although the Swiss manager led the Algerian national team to the round of 32 at the 2026 World Cup, he is reportedly no longer trusted by Algerian football officials and certain players in the national team.
