Algeria announces its schedule for the upcoming international break
The Algerian team will first play the first two matchdays of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, before facing Niger in a friendly.
The Fennecs now know their fixtures for the September–October 2026 international break. This FIFA window will be dominated by the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. Algeria will kick off their qualifying campaign in Group I against Zambia at home.
The Fennecs will play their opening match on 25 September in Tizi Ouzou. They will host the Chipolopolo at the Hocine Ait Ahmed Stadium.
Four days later, the Algerian team will travel to Burundi for the second match of the qualifiers. This fixture, scheduled for 29 September, will take place at the Intwari Stadium in Bujumbura.
Following these first two qualifying fixtures, the Fennecs will then play an international friendly against Niger. The match is scheduled for 6 October at the Hocine Ait Ahmed Stadium in Tizi Ouzou.
