Norwegian forward Alexander Sørloth is determined to leave Atlético as early as January.
Details: According to Spanish journalist Víctor Llebaría Escutia, Sørloth is searching for a club where he can consistently play the full 90 minutes and finish the season in top form ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
The player’s decision is driven by his desire to be fully prepared for the World Cup and gain valuable match practice.
However, if a transfer does not materialize this winter, Sørloth remains set on leaving Atlético and will do so next summer.
This season, the Norwegian has seen limited playing time, often coming off the bench. Nevertheless, he has already featured in fourteen matches for the Madrid side across all competitions, netting two goals. Transfermarkt currently values him at €25 million.
