On Wednesday, July 10th, the match between Novak Djokovic and Alex de Minaur was scheduled for the Wimbledon quarterfinals.

However, organizers announced that Australian tennis player Alex de Minaur withdrew from the tournament due to injury. Consequently, Novak Djokovic receives a walkover victory and advances to the semifinals.

It's worth noting that this marks Djokovic's 15th appearance in the Wimbledon quarterfinals, surpassing Jimmy Connors (14). The legendary Swiss player Roger Federer holds the record for most quarterfinal appearances at Wimbledon with 18.

In other news, the world's third-ranked women's player, Aryna Sabalenka, also withdrew from the tournament. She was scheduled to play her first match today, but has a rare shoulder injury to address.
