Details: According to the reputable outlet Kicker, Bayern Munich have shown genuine interest in Bayer Leverkusen’s 30-year-old Spanish full-back Alejandro Grimaldo.
Reports suggest that Grimaldo’s name is being mentioned more frequently behind the scenes at Bayern, with the club’s management viewing him as a reliable and seasoned reinforcement for their back line. The Spanish defender himself has yet to comment on the Bavarians’ interest.

Grimaldo joined Bayer in 2023 from Benfica as a free agent. Since then, the Spaniard has featured in 114 matches for the “pharmacists,” netting 23 goals and providing 37 assists.
Grimaldo’s current contract with Bayer runs until 2027, and his market value, according to Transfermarkt, is estimated at €30 million.
