Al Ahly intends to reveal the final design for its new stadium on February 14, 2025, in a spectacular ceremony in Luxor, Egypt. This unveiling will coincide with the formal display of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup Trophy. The stadium, which will be erected at the club's Sheikh Zayed branch, is part of a broader plan to create a sports city featuring a museum, hospital, university, and commercial sectors.

The stadium, developed by an American company, will have an initial seating capacity of 42,000 people. Construction will be managed by a consortium of Egyptian and Emirati enterprises, and the project is projected to last four years. The corporations who funded and built the stadium will have 25 years of usage rights until Al Ahly takes full ownership.

Major corporations have made serious offers for the stadium's name rights. The most remarkable bid came from a well-known Emirati corporation, which allegedly paid $100 million for the name rights, establishing itself as the front-runner.

During the celebration, FIFA President Gianni Infantino and Al Ahly president Mahmoud El Khatib are set to talk about the project's significance. The event, which will take place in the Hatshepsut Temple in Luxor, is expected to be a spectacular celebration of both the stadium's design and the 2019 World Cup.
