Al Ahly SC have arrived in Barcelona for the 2026 Joan Gamper Trophy

Players and members of the coaching staff from the Egyptian giants have travelled to Catalonia ahead of this prestigious fixture.

Al Ahly SC will face FC Barcelona on Wednesday 19 August in the 2026 Joan Gamper Trophy. The match is scheduled for 8 pm at Camp Nou, where the Egyptian club will attempt to hold their own against one of European football’s powerhouses.

But ahead of this fixture, the Egyptian club’s delegation has landed in Barcelona. Players and members of the coaching staff set foot on Catalan soil on Monday 17 August. The Red Devils will put the finishing touches to their preparations in Catalonia ahead of kick-off.

Al Ahly’s participation in the Joan Gamper Trophy is a historic milestone. The Egyptian club has become the first African club to take part in the Joan Gamper Trophy.
