Al Ahly of Egypt Delays Official Announcement of Achraf Bencharki Signing

Al Ahly has decided to delay the official announcement of Moroccan star Achraf Bencharki’s signing, despite finalizing the deal after he passed his medical tests and signed the contract.

Al Ahly’s official channel stated that the delay is to complete the presentation video, making the announcement more special for the fans.

Reports confirmed that Bencharki underwent a photo session at the club today, which's the main reason behind postponing the official announcement until Thursday.

Meanwhile, Al Ahly may register Tunisian Ali Maâloul in the squad tomorrow if no new foreign players are signed.

Al Ahly has completed 4 deals so far, 3 of which were transferred in January, namely the Slovenian Gradisar, Mostafa El Aash, and Ahmed Reda, in addition to Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, who'll transfer to Al Ahly at the end of the current season.
