Ajax considers bringing Erik ten Hag back as head coach

Ajax dramatically let the Eredivisie title slip away, and in the aftermath, their coach decided to leave the club. Now, the club is weighing up several options for the managerial role.
Details: According to Florian Plettenberg, Ajax is seriously considering bringing Erik ten Hag back as head coach. Paolo Simonis is also in the running. Interestingly, Bayer Leverkusen is also keeping an eye on ten Hag.
By the way, the club from Eindhoven surged into the lead, capitalizing on Ajax’s shocking collapse. The Amsterdam side was leading PSV by nine points with just five matches left, but ultimately missed out on the title.
Now Ajax head coach Francesco Faroli has decided to leave the club. He made this decision on his own after much deliberation.
Reminder: PSV Eindhoven became Dutch champions for the 26th time in their history. Francesco Faroli and his Ajax squad have only themselves to blame—it takes some doing to squander such a commanding lead.
