AFCON 2027 qualifiers: Cameroon to host Namibia at Japoma Stadium
The two teams will face each other on Matchday 3 of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
David Pagou’s side will play their third qualifying match in Douala. The Indomitable Lions will thus return to the pitch at Japoma Stadium, where they have not played since November 2023, when they faced Mauritius.
Having recorded one win and one draw in their first two qualifying fixtures, the Cameroonian side will be looking to secure another victory in front of their home crowd. A positive result would allow David Pagou’s side to continue their march towards qualification for the next Africa Cup of Nations, which will be hosted by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
Against Namibia, the Cameroonians will therefore have the opportunity to consolidate their position at the top of Group G and move closer to their objective.
