French forward Olivier Giroud of AC Milan has not yet extended his contract with the club, according to Sky Sports.

Sources indicate that the footballer may move to Major League Soccer (MLS) by signing a contract with a club in the United States. Olivier Giroud's current contract is set to expire in June 2024, allowing him the possibility to move to America as a free agent.

It's worth noting that Giroud joined AC Milan on July 7, 2021. He made his debut for the new club on August 23, 2021, in the first-round match of the Italian championship against Sampdoria, starting in the lineup and playing the entire match. On August 29, 2021, he scored his debut goals for the team, securing a brace in the second-round match against Cagliari.

In the final matchday of the 2021/22 season against Sassuolo, Giroud scored a first-half brace, contributing to Milan winning the Italian Serie A title for the first time in 11 years.

Recently, Milan announced the contract extension of promising goalkeeper Lapo Nava. The new deal for the 19-year-old goalkeeper with the Rossoneri is valid until the summer of 2027. Nava is a product of Milan's youth system and played a key role in the U19 team, which reached the semifinals of the UEFA Youth League 2022/23.
