AC Milan has initiated negotiations with the talented midfielder regarding a new contract
AC Milan wants to sign a new long-term contract with the talented French midfielder Yacine Adli.
According to journalist Nicolo Schira, the club's management has started negotiations with the midfielder of Algerian descent. They have offered him a deal until 2028, whereas his current contract expires in 2026.
23-year-old Adli came through the youth ranks at PSG. In 2019, the midfielder moved to Bordeaux, from where Milan bought him for 9 million euros in 2021.
In the current season, the former France youth international has scored 1 goal and provided 2 assists in 27 matches for the Rossoneri across all competitions.
On Saturday, April 6th, Milan defeated Lecce (3:0). Stefano Pioli's team is currently in second place in Serie A after 31 rounds.
Earlier reports indicated that Milan had found a replacement for their primary goalkeeper Mike Maignan in Spain.
