Milan's management is considering the option of inviting Valencia's goalkeeper, Giorgi Mamardashvili, as a potential replacement for the current goalkeeper, Mike Maignan, reports Tuttosport.

According to the publication, Maignan and the club cannot reach an agreement on a new contract due to disagreements over salary terms. Maignan wants to receive eight million euros per year, while Milan's management is not prepared to offer him more than seven million, which is the limit for the highest-paid player at the club, Rafael Leao.

It is noted that Milan will have to pay around 40-50 million euros for Mamardashvili's transfer.

Maignan's current contract with the club is valid until June 30, 2026, with an annual salary of 3.6 million euros. Meanwhile, Mamardashvili's contract with Valencia expires on June 30, 2027, with an annual salary of 1.5 million euros. According to Transfermarkt's assessment, his value is 35 million euros.
