The president of the Senegalese Football Federation spoke to reaffirm the position of the body he heads.

Tensions remain high surrounding the decision of the African Football Confederation’s Appeals Committee. In Dakar, the course of action was set this Thursday 19 March during a press conference organised regarding the withdrawal of the 2025 African Championship title from the Lions of Teranga and its award to the Lions of the Atlas. For Abdoulaye Fall, there is no point in fuelling the controversy; rather, it is necessary to operate within a clearly defined legal framework.

Returning the Cup to Morocco? We will comply with the statutory provisions of the CAF. All our actions will be carried out in accordance with the statutory and regulatory provisions of the CAF.
