Abdeslam Ouaddou is pleased to have his players play for Bafana Bafana

Abdeslam Ouaddou is fully behind Bafana Bafana.

The Orlando Pirates coach his players must not feel any sort of pressure to play for the national team.

"I’ve been an international for 13 years, playing four African Cups,” said Ouaddou.

“So, when it’s time to wear the international uniform for the country, to represent the country, it’s time to go to represent your country. It’s like when the army calls somebody to defend the country. It’s time and I don’t have nothing to do about that."

After Bafana's camp, Pirates will face fierce rivals Mamelodi Sundowns in the MTN8 final but Ouaddou is not fazed by the fact that some players may return carrying injury.

“It’s time to go to compete for your country. It’s time to go to represent your nation. It’s time to go to represent your people, and you have to be proud."
