Abdeslam Ouaddou believes Orlando Pirates have what it takes to win the Caf Champions League
Abdeslam Ouaddou is confident Orlando Pirates can apply the same principles which saw them win the Betway Premiership to win the Caf Champions League.
The Sea Robbers coach said, like they promised the PSL title, they can fulfil one of winning the continental competition.
Pirates, by virtue of winning the PSL title, have qualified for next season's continent's premium tournament, which Ouaddou said they can do their best to clinch.
“Look, I think I’m not a magician, but what we can promise with people, like we did this season, we are going to prepare and sweat for that,” said Ouaddou this week earlier after they won the PSL title on Saturday.
“We will try and make them happy.”
The former AS Vita and Marumo Gallants coach said he is working under a dedicated management team which can make the dream a possibility.
“The players, the management, the technical director knows the work we do every day, the trust that we put in players, our competencies and our qualities,” said Ouaddou.
“I always believed that the guys would apply what we do in training until the last game, last minute and last second.
“And it’s football is not an exact science.”
