A well-known insider has reacted to rumours of Man City stars leaving

Even though the transfer window has already closed, rumours about the transfer of one player or another continue to be generated, leaving the intrigue of their full finality until January, when a new shopping opportunity opens up.

Details: It was previously reported that two midfielders could leave Manchester City in the winter. Al Nassr are interested in the services of Mateo Kovacic, while Real will make attempts to sign Rodri. But renowned insider Fabrizio Romano assures that there are no specifics in these rumours.

Quote: ‘The transfer window closed a few days ago and we have already heard a lot of rumours. What I can say is that nothing is happening at this stage regarding Kovacic leaving for the Saudi Arabian championship. There's no talk, nothing. We'll see in January, but right now nothing is happening. I don't know where this is coming from. There's also no talk on Rodri, everything is completely quiet. He has full focus on City,’ reads in Romano's column for The Daily Briefing.

Reminder: It has been reported that Cristiano Ronaldo himself wants Kovacic in Al Nassr's squad, and it was he who pressurised the Saudi club to sign the Croatian.
