The Brazilian national team, gearing up for a crucial match against Argentina in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, held the first of three scheduled training sessions. However, the team's main star, Vinicius Junior, did not participate in ball exercises. This was reported by Marca.

Details: During the 15 minutes of the session open to the press, the Real Madrid star followed an individual program, limiting himself to running exercises accompanied by a member of the coaching staff. Moreover, he didn't even put on his boots, opting for a light jog in sneakers.

Brazil's head coach Dorival Junior did not explain why Vinicius was training separately, but sources within the team suggest that this is merely a precautionary measure following a physically demanding match against Colombia (2-1), in which he scored the winning goal.

Reminder: Brazil urgently called up Beraldo, Joao Gomes, Ederson, and goalkeeper Everton to compensate for the losses. Gabriel Magalhaes and Bruno Guimaraes will miss the game due to suspensions, while Gerson and Alisson are out with injuries.

By the way, a victory in this game will secure Argentina an early ticket to the 2026 World Cup.
