Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury have already shared the ring twice, with both encounters ending in victory for the Ukrainian, but it now appears the two heavyweights could be heading toward a trilogy bout.

Details: Fury has once again called out Usyk. The British heavyweight declared that he first plans to defeat Anthony Joshua before setting his sights on another clash with the Ukrainian champion.

Quote: “Turki, I’m out on my run, hitting the road like Rocky Balboa. After I beat Joshua, I want his sensei. I want a rematch with ‘The Rabbit.’ I want him in London, Las Vegas, or New York, baby! I promise you, Rabbit, you’ll get what’s coming to you,” Fury said.

The reigning WBA, WBC, and IBF heavyweight world champion Usyk responded to the challenge and made it clear that he is ready for a trilogy fight.

Quote: “Hello, brother. I’m ready anytime. Las Vegas, New York, Saudi Arabia — anywhere. Let’s do it! ‘Greedy Belly’ is my friend,” Usyk said.

Reminder: Turki Alalshikh, chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, is reportedly planning to stage a fight between Usyk (24–0, 15 KOs) and interim WBC heavyweight champion Agit Kabayel (27–0, 19 KOs).
