Details: Earlier today, Tottenham's official page on social network X announced that Joao Palhinha is officially heading back to Bayern Munich.

It is reported that Tottenham decided not to trigger the buyout option, so the Portuguese midfielder has completed his loan spell and is once again a player for the Munich club.
As a result, Palhinha will rejoin Bayern ahead of the new season and begin preparations with the squad.
Palhinha joined Tottenham in the summer of 2025 on loan from Bayern. The Portuguese midfielder made 45 appearances for the Spurs, scoring 7 goals and providing 3 assists. However, this wasn't enough to convince the club's management.
