However, the euphoria at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was short-lived. After the referees intervened, the goal was overturned. It turned out that during the attacking move, Kolo Muani had committed a foul, pushing Arsenal defender Gabriel in the back to create space for his shot.
Thanks to the officials' decision, the score remained 2-1 in Arsenal’s favor.
